Leavin' on a Jet Plane

This weekend Jen and I are headed to Virginia to visit my folks, a la Independence Air. I like Independence, but their terminal at Bradley is freaking tiny. Terminal B is like an entirely different world at BDL, completely removed from everyone and everything. The last time we flew out of Hartford, I think the only people we saw were the other passengers on our plane, 1 security personnel, and maybe 2 cops. There were a few small food shops down there but they were all caged up, and if I remember correctly it was only about 7pm. We'll see if it's changed since the last time I was there.

I'm definitely bringing my DS for some rockin' times with Advance Wars: DS. Picked it up the other night and it's everything the previous two GBA games were... that is to say, addicting and kick-ass. While the release schedule of games on the DS is depressingly slow (the next title coming out that I want is Mario Kart: DS, slated for November 14th), it's gems like this that make me glad I got the DS over the PSP. I think I'll always be a Nintendo fanboy at heart.
