Weekend Breakdown
Friday night: Play disc golf at Wickham. Hopefully dont shoot like ass.
Saturday: Wake up early and drive to Saratoga to help Brother-in-law move into his new apartment. He finally got his government clearance required for him to work at his new job (mechanical engineer working with dangerous toys; if i remember correct he accepted the job at which he will be building rockets to Mars :o) so he's moving in while he still has about 2 weeks before his start date.
Saturday night: Drive home from Saratoga. Collapse when I finally get home.
Sunday: Wake up, have breakfast with and relax with my wife, and then jam on back to Wickham for Sunday Doubles. With luck I won't get paired with one guy again... we shot well together last time, and he actually did contribute quite a bit, but overall he's a below-average player in the group that shows up to league and I'd like to get a better partner one of these weeks.
Sunday post-doubles: Go home and pick up Jen to head over to Target (pronounced Tar-zhay, heh) to do some more baby-registry stuff. Let me tell you, I thought the wedding registry stuff was full of pressure, but shopping for baby stuff is moreso if only because you know you're putting things on a list for a yet-to-be-born child who will be relying solely on YOU to continue their life. It kind of brings it all home, in a way. And holy lord is baby stuff expensive!
Sunday night: Relax some more, probably do some more work on my BloodBowl pitch (pics coming soon!), and do laundry to prepare for the work week ahead.
Yeah, this weekend is gonna FLY by. But next weekend... New Hampshire States tourney! Can't wait, I won my division there last year and I'm looking to defend the title. We'll see if it happens, the field looks pretty tough. But it's a sweet course, I just need to stay super accurate off the tee and hope my putting is on. But there's still a week to prepare for it.
PS: I finally beat Advance Wars:DS. And it was good. I truly can't recommend the series enough, this last one was just as good as the previous two titles for GBA. Now I'm on to conquer the "War Room" maps since I'm done with the Campaign!
